Yesterday was my wife's birthday, so we had a Her Day and drove to Eureka Springs. I didn't get any decent photos of the town with the good camera, but I got plenty of our ultimate destination: the Turpentine Creek refuge.
TC is a wonderful organization/installation that provides "...lifetime refuge for abandoned, abused, and neglected 'Big Cats', with emphasis on tigers, lions, leopards, and cougars." Each animal has a story that you can read while visiting, although I wouldn't advise reading some of them if you're feeling at all depressed... some of these magnificent creatures were horribly abused before they were rescued.
